Description

Victoria Bartle is a patient inclusion advocate and disability educator with her own experiences of disability and the receipt of in-home care.

In this 20 minute presentation, recorded on International Day of People With Disabilities, Victoria walks us through common myths about the people that might receive care and shares her experiences of finding and receiving care at home.

Alongside sharing her experiences, Victoria provides some helpful insight into things companies can do to better support the people who use their services and reflects on what she might do differently if she was shopping for care again today.
