Janet sets the scene, helping us to consider the impact of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), with discussion of contemporary theories and tips for understanding and implementing neuroscience-informed change in Early Years Education

Andrew Fuller - Lead Consultant at Hood Lessons
Andrew's session focusses on understanding the underlying factors that contribute to challenging behaviours and emotional difficulties. By drawing on psychological theories and evidence-based practices, he'll talk you through how Hood Lessons design interventions that address the root causes of these issues. and how this may involve cognitive-behavioural techniques, social skills training, or other therapeutic approaches tailored to the needs of each individual.

Jenny Phillips - Farm and Animal Therapy Advocate
With a session centred around the benefits of farm and animal therapy, and through providing actionable ways to embed animal therapy techniques into your setting, Jenny helps us to understand and use farm therapy principles both with live animals and virtually, building on her own work and experience and providing links to theory along the way.
